Nach der Reife in erstklassigen, handverlesenen Marsala Vergine Fässern aus dem sonnigen Sizilien, sowie einem finishing der besonderen Art in Ex-Peated Fässern, glänzt PUNI ALBA in einer einzigartig harmonischen Kombination vollmundiger und fruchtiger Aromen aus dem Süden Italiens und markanten rauchigen Noten.
INTERSSANTES
Mit dem Puni Alba bringt zum ersten Mal eine italienische Brennerei einen Single Malt auf den Markt. Und auch wenn der Puni Alba „nur“ die gesetzlich vorgeschriebene Pflichtzeit im Fass gelegen ist, so beeindruckt er trotz seiner Jugend mit seinem Balance und frappiert mit dem sagenhaft interessanten Mix aus Torf, Rauch und Sturm und lieblichem italienischem Wein. Diese ausgefallene Charakteristik verdankt der Puni Alba insbesondere seiner Art der Fassreifung: zwei Jahre lang reifte er in Marsala Fässern, ehe er für das Finish in ex Islay Fässern umgefüllt wurde, in denen er ein weiteres Jahr verbracht hat.
